Advanced Medical Reviews Completes SOC 2 TYPE II Audit

Advanced Medical Reviews (AMR) is proud to consistently deliver the highest level of service, from the quality of medical reviews to the infrastructure designed for delivering them. This drive for excellence and innovation is what led us to undergo a comprehensive SOC 2 (Service Organization Controls) Type II audit of our IT systems, which we have successfully finalized.
In their “Independent Service Auditor’s Report,” I.S. Partners, based in Horsham, PA states, “We have examined the attached description titled “Description of Advanced Medical Reviews, Inc.’s Independent Medical Review System throughout the Period May 1, 2012 through April 30, 2013” (the description) and the suitability of the design and operating effectiveness of controls to meet the criteria for the Security principle set forth in TSP Section 100, Trust Services Principles, Criteria, and Illustrations for Security, Availability, Process Integrity, Confidentiality and Privacy (AICPA, Technical Practice Aids, applicable trust services criteria), throughout the period May 1, 2012 through April 30, 2013.”
The completion of the SOC 2 Type II audit allows our clients and staff to have full confidence in the security of our technological platforms. It is based upon the Trust Services Principles, which relate to security, availability, confidentiality, process integrity and privacy. Due to the high number of threats in today’s digital business world, it is imperative to guarantee a system that is safe and controlled.
